Shajaret Hob / Love Tree | شجرة حب

First traced in Jerusalem (القدس), the Shajaret Hob, or Love Tree, is a traditional Tatreez (تطريز) motif that grows from the hands of women who have stitched their longing, resistance, and dreams into thread.

 It is a symbol of rootedness, of lineage, of a love that refuses to be uprooted. In every branch and bloom, there is a memory of the land, a prayer for return, and a declaration that we belong.
