Hebron Rose زهرة الخليل Serving Bowl 22 cm

A medium size serving bowl from our Hebron Rose collection, hand-carved with one rosette motif on the rim. Perfect for serving salads, side dishes, or can be used as a fruit bowl, while carrying the story of our people and their deep connection to the land.

The ‘rosette’ is one of the oldest motifs found in the textile arts. There are different versions of this flower motif in Palestinian embroidery (Tatreez). This stemmed flower motif is typical of the Hebron (الخليل) area, one of the oldest continuously inhabited regions of Palestine,  and indeed, the world. Located about twenty miles south of Jerusalem, Hebron (الخليل) is known for its hilly landscape, renowned for vineyards and grapes. It remains one of the areas richest in cultural traditions and heritage.

Dishwasher and microwave safe, hand wash recommended.

Hand-built using beige speckled stoneware and coated with three layers of transparent, lead free glaze, making it 100% food safe.
