The rosette is one of the oldest motifs found in textile arts, with many variations appearing in Palestinian embroidery (Tatreez).
This stemmed flower motif is typical of the Hebron (الخليل) area, one of the oldest continuously inhabited regions of Palestine, and in fact the world. Located about 30 kilometres south of Jerusalem, Hebron (الخليل) is known for its hilly landscape and its vineyards and grapes. It is an area rich in cultural traditions and heritage.
Besides decorating your home or bedroom, this piece can be used to serve sweets, as a coaster for your tea mug, or to hold your jewelry on your bedside table.
